Bad Light District is a Polish music band established in Krakow in 2007. Originally it functioned as a solo project of Michał Smolicki – the drummer of the Krakow band New York Crasnals. In May 2009, Ampersand Records released the band’s debut album Simplifications, which was composed and recorded entirely by Michał Smolicki, with the guest participation of members of his main band.
