Kunta Kente

With a classic deejay style similar to old-school deejays like Macka B and Brigadier Jerry comes Kunta Kente; the hottest new name in gospel dancehall. David Swaby was born on October 7th, in Kingston Jamaica, and then raised in the lush green hills of St. Ann (the birthplace of Bob Marley). He is now residing in Miami, Florida and has opted for a new name; "Kunta Kente". When most people hear his new moniker, the first thing that comes to mind is the popular character in "Roots", the 1977 made for TV saga.
