Trybesmen are a trio of Nigerian rappers who make up part of the new wave of Nigerian hip-hop. They are well-regarded for their innovative rhymes and the seamless way in which they mix Nigerian pidgin English into their rap. The group is made up of Freestyle "Shogun" Essien (who has embarked on a solo career), ElDee and Kaboom
