Chaos Is The Poetry

Produced by Lanny Cordola, Tim Bardowell and Chuck Wright, this brilliant jazz-inflected progressive art-rock project sadly aborted on launch due to the financial collapse of Alarma Records in 1996. It shows a keen sense of melodic songwriting, super tight musicianship, and fanciful lyric writing. Lyrically the group presents songs that deal in one way or another with the intersection of religion and culture, touching on themes of racial violence and on efforts to relate the message of the gospel to the needs of society.
