Emerson Salazar

Emerson Salazar (1983, San Felipe, Chile) is one of the most brilliant classical guitar players of his generation. First prize winner at the XXXV Andrés Segovia Guitar Competition in 2010 and Luis Sigall Music Competition in 2012, he has delighted audiences in Europe and America through his solid technique and musicality. In June 2013 he premiered John McLaughlin´s second guitar concerto “Europa” with the Israel Sinfonietta Beer Sheva, and Doron Salomon as conductor.
