“Running the streets,” seems to be a colloquialism phrase used by most hip hop artist today. However, for Power Entertainment’s southern rap artist Big Maine, “the streets” are what helped pave his milestone into music. Raised in the “Dodge City,” streets of New Ellenton, SC by his grandparents, Big Maine learned first-hand how to turn a hobby into a hustle. As his grandmother struggled to provide on a slim income, Big Maine had no choice but to hustle the streets for survival.
