Shony

The Artist Born in the Middle East to a Turkish Mother and a Russian father, Shony grew up exposed to a rich and unique mix of culture and music. Strong musical elements from North Africa, Eastern Europe, Spain, European Gypsy Swing as well as American jazz, Blues and British Rock, contributed to Shony’s musical development. Shony picked up the guitar at the age of ten, and never stopped playing since. At the age of 26 Shony moved to England and a few years later, on to Canada where he made his home on the West Coast.
