Kene

Kene is a singer and songwriter from Estonia. Her music is written together with producer Ervin Trofimov from post-rock outfit Opium Flirt. Estonian president Toomas Hendrik Ilves called Kene`s music as a noir alternative that meets finno-ugric joik chant. Many critics and melomans say that it is like Pj Harvey doing collaboration with Patty Smith . She describer her music as gloomy and dazzling. It`s a mixture of many genres, most distinctive elements are from pop and folk. She likes to call it dark-pop.
