Lion's Pride

Lions Pride (spelled without an apostrophe, but the name gets auto-corrected by Last.fm...) was an early hard rock / heavy metal band from the Maasmechelen area in Belgium, established in 1982. Fronted by Willy Beckers and 16 year-old guitar virtuoso Benito Bocasile, the band's début album Breaking Out (1984) was released world-wide to international acclaim, but amidst high expectations the band imploded shortly after its initial success. Lion's Pride is also the name of a Flemish-nationalist rock band ('with a medieval atmosphere').
