Production: Kevin Smith. Kevin's dj career began in 1994 in his home town of Charleston, SC, where he promoted events with friends as "groovers afterhours." The name stems from the venue Kevin and his partner Russ opened "Groovers" in 1994. He and Russ next played weekends at Channel Red for a coule of years, then migrated to Aberations, which was a three story cave-type club, formerly the Treehouse, Charleston's first gay/straight/underground dance club.
