There are at least 3 artists known as Akito: 1) Akito, the solo project of singer/songwriter/producer Akito Katayose (片寄明人). 2) AKITO, a composer of instrumental "spiritual pop" music. He mainly composes songs in Be-Music Source (BMS) format, a common type used in rhythm action games such as beatmania, StepMania and Pop 'n' Music. Many of his compositions have a traditional Japanese sound to them. 3) Akito, a Japanese artist affiliated with CIMS Music Entertainment.
