Maya J'an

Maya J'an (also Maya J'an B) is a singer and an award winning songwriter who was grew up in Los Angeles (Pasadena and Santa Clarita.) Maya's music is a fusion of dance oriented pop, hip-hop and contemporary R&B. Under "Maya J'an", Maya debut with a single Cul-de-sac. On Substack, Maya reflects being the black household in Los Angeles growing up, "suburbia teaches you how to be quiet before it teaches you how to be safe." Maya has written music for a number of artists including Aqyilla, Adanna Duru, and Chloe Jane.
