Tony Ogden

Tony Ogden, who died suddenly in 2006 aged 44, was the charismatic frontman of the influential Manchester band World of Twist. They came within a whisker of making it big in the early 1990s, and have continued to enjoy cult status and regular airplay on mainstream radio. At the time of his death, he was working on demos for a new band, The Bubblegum Secret Pop Explosion. They are great songs, and proof that Tony Ogden's unique pop vision still remained intact.
