P27

P-27 (www.p-27.ch) is a rap crew from Basel, Switzerland and a local legend. In 1992, P-27 released «Murder by Dialect» feat. Black Tiger on the Swiss compilation «Fresh Stuff 2», which made them the first band to put out a track with raps in Swiss-German. Thanks to a regular radio airplay, the sentence «y bin e Schpräyer, und y schpräy won y will» was copied and heard all over Switzerland. In the same year, P-27 released their first album «Overdose Funk» on Phonag and the single «Summerzyyt».
