About El Kinto
El Kinto, also known as El Kinto Conjunto, was an Uruguayan rock band, whose active period was 1967-1970. They were pioneers in the fusion of beat music and candombe - beat candombe - and singing these songs in Spanish. Their main composers and referents were Rubén Rada and Eduardo Mateo.
