This group is not actually called orti – rather, saxophonist Guillaime Orti is one of the four Belgian musicians who make up the jazz/improv quartet Kartet, which has an idiosyncratic sound all its own. The rest of this group of Paris-based musicians, who have made many recordings separately and together, are the well-known Benoit Delbecq on piano along with Herbert Dupont on bass and Benjamin Henocq on drums and percussion.
