Born In Tea neck, New Jersey, Son of Tyrone Downie Sr. [Organ/ Keys & Background Vocals for The Legendary Bob Marley and the Wailers band] and Althea Forrest [of Althea & Donna, the first two (and only) females involved in the early Reggae scene] IllesTr8 has been an artist ever since he could hold a pencil. It didn't take long before he started song writing and production in various forms of art, from visual to musical. At around the age of two he moved from NJ to Jamaica where he lived most of his life.
