Zoi Kouroukli

Zoe Laskari, Ζωή Λάσκαρη (Zoi Kouroukli, Ζωή Κουρούκλη, December 12, 1944 - August 18, 2017) was a Greek film and stage actress. Zoe Laskari was born Zoi Kouroukli in Thessaloniki, from a middle class family which had a long tradition of service to the Hellenic Army. She was a cousin of Greek singer Ζωή Κουρούκλη (Zoitsa Kouroukli) (whose name happens to be Ζωή Κουρούκλη (Zoe Kouroukli) as well!). At an early age she lost both her parents and was raised by her paternal grandparents.
