Nova Ruth

Nova Ruth (Malang, Indonesia) is a vocalist that has worked in various genres. Starting from the year 2000, she became a female emcee and was one half of Twin Sista. She also joined an independent compilation album – Perang Rap (2002) – with other hip hop artists from East Java. in 2003 Twin Sista released their one and only album titled ‘Mother of Nature’. Afterwards, Nova went solo and in 2007 she got involved in Poetry Battle #1 as part of Les Primtemp Des Poètes, an Indonesia-French exchange festival that happens annually.
