About Jure Pukl

Jure Pukl (* 7 October 1977) is a Slovenian jazz musician (tenor and soprano saxophone, bass clarinet, composition) of modern jazz. Pukl first studied classical and jazz saxophone playing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. There he won the competition for a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music, where he had lessons with Joe Lovano and George Garzone. He then obtained his master's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.
