Les Mystères

Les Mystères was an early Dutch beat band from The Hague, The Netherlands. Established in 1962, the group won a band battle organised by teen magazine 'Tuney Tunes' in December 1963 and released a number of singles in 1964 and 1965, carrying on as The Bumble Bees in 1965. By that time, lead singer Mariska Veres, had left the group. The main reason why Les Mystères are an interesting footnote in the history of the Dutch scene is the fact that singer Mariska Veres would join Shocking Blue in late 1968 and top the U.
