Joo Won is South Korean actor. He caught the attention of television viewers in his first drama King of Baking, Kim Takgu. He became popular after starring in King of Baking, Kim Takgu as the main antagonist, And in Ojakgyo Family, for which he won the 2011 KBS Drama Award for Best New Actor. He initially debuted as a musical actor in the Korean version of Altar Boyz and followed up with other musicals, such as Grease and Spring Awakening before debuting in small screen.
