Jean-François Charles

Jean-François Charles is a composer, clarinetist, and live electronics designer. In 2003, he was invited by Karlheinz Stockhausen to play for the premiere and studio recording of “ Rechter Augenbrauentanz”. From 2001 to 2005, he was the leader of the “Ensemble New Flore”, a group of creative music featuring percussion, double bass, clarinet, dance and live electronics. He likes to explore the relations between music and dance: he has been composing a series of pieces for dancing musicians.
