Alternative Ties

Alternative Ties is a melodic rock band formed in the year 2014 by vocalist/lyricist Amit Kiran Dasgupta and his friends. Drawing inspiration from genres like alternative rock, post-hardcore and progressive rock, the band tends to experiment with their sound by mixing clean melodic vocals with heavy guitars, powerful bass, and hard-hitting drums. Since its inception, the band has performed multiple live shows throughout Bangalore, India which includes RVCE’s Rocktane Battle
