About Al Peco
Al Peco grew up in France until the age of nine, then moved to Bamako, Mali, where he spent most of his childhood and adolescence. Inspired by Born Yamadou Kanouté in 1980 in Grigny (Essonne) , Al Peco Kriss Kross at the age of twelve, he began rapping at fourteen or fifteen, and founded the group Rage (Koly, Fokko, and Justice) at sixteen. This group quickly became the leading rap group in Mali and even in neighboring countries thanks to their hit song " Votemania ."
