Beat The Clock

About Beat The Clock

Beat the Clock was formed in Minneapolis in 1988. It consisted of Chris Beaty (vox/guitar), Tom Scott (vox/drums), Ken Chastain (vox/percussion/guitar/anything that moves), and Jim Anton (vox/bass). They released two self-produced albums, Beat the Clock and The Funk Bus, both on their own "Booty Rock" label. In addition, they contributed a track to the AIDS awareness fundraiser disc "Break the Silence", and produced an extremely limited-edition live cassette, "Beat the Clock - Live on the Psych Bike".
