Maxwell Street Jimmy

Also known as Maxwell Street Jimmy Davis, the moniker which incorporates his surname, Maxwell Street Jimmy was a bluesman who was well known for his performances in the clubs and bars (and often on the street) of Chicago's West Side from the 50s onwards. He died in 1995 leaving few recordings.
