Apratim Majumdar

Apratim Majumdar (born in1978) began his training in music at the age of five under the guidance of his mother. After four years of his training in classical vocal music he took up Sarod at the age of nine. He is studying music in Sarod for over 24 years and still continuing uninterruptedly. Initially he was tutored and groomed by Prof. Rabin Ghosh, disciple of Ustad Alauddin Khan, in strict discipline and perfect style of Senia Maihar Gharana.
