Allan Blank (1925–2013) was an American composer, violinist, and music educator, member of The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (1950–52). He attended the Juilliard School in 1945–47 and obtained a bachelor's degree from Washington Square College in 1948. Blank continued his studies at The University Of Minnesota, where he obtained a master's degree in 1970, and the University of Iowa. Allan Blank used to teach composition at various institutions from the mid-sixties until the late nineties
