Herbie's People

Formed as Danny Cannon & The Ramrods, Herbie's People came from Bilston, United Kingdom, not far from Wolverhampton and were managed by hit songwriter, Bill Bates. The band cut three 45s for CBS, starting with the near-hit 'You Thrill Me To Pieces', followed by 'One Little Smile' and 'Humming Bird'. The band quietly disappeared, but shuffled the line-up around a bit and recorded further singles as Just William (I Don't Care', 1968) and The Bullring (1970).
