Rik van Boeckel

Rik van Boeckel is a Dutch poet, songwriter, singer/rapper and percussionist. His instruments are djembé. conga’s, bongo’s, cajón and all kinds of small percussion. In 1982 he started to do solo-performances in the style of performing poetry and spoken word, a combination of songs, rhythmic poetry, rap with African and Latin percussion, electronic music, pop, rock, Latin music and hiphop.
