DANK refers to at least 4 artists: (1) the Cape Town electronic beats producer (2) the Pamplona-Iruñea based young band. (3) A hip-hop duo based in Baltimore, MD. (4) A Seattle stoner doom band with a hint of magic. (1) is a self-proclaimed lover of vintage analogue synths and electronic music. Affiliated with the African Dope label, he runs a commercial production studio in central Cape Town, spending most of his time dj'ing or churning out huge beats with a pervasive mischief always present. more at www.myspace.com/dankcpt
