According to a comment left on the Discogs page for "The Comfort of Strangers" by its producer, Rhythm+Doctor, CXX were "2 fellas who lived round the corner from me in forest gate. they used to listen to my shows on fantasy fm & come to raves now & then. they didn't release many tracks- maybe 1 more. i only did this track with them."
