About Häävi
Häävi is a fiddle band from Kaustinen, Finland, with violins, harmonium, double bass and polyphonic vocals. The repertoire of the band, which has been playing together for almost 15 years, includes both playing and singing, traditional Caustic fiddle music, diverse folk dance music, singing and, to an increasing extent, music composed for the band Häävi. For its part, Häävi renews the Caustic playing tradition with fresh arrangements and compositions that respect its own roots.
