Sean Reinert

Sean Reinert (born May 27, 1971, died January 24, 2020) was the drummer of the group Cynic, Æon Spoke and Gordian Knot. He was known for his technical and creative drumming. In 1991, Reinert and Paul Masvidal (also of Cynic) joined the band Death to record the Human album. After touring with Death, he returned to Cynic. Because of legal ties with the record company, Sean could not play on the next Death album (leading to the famous collaboration
