About miida and The Department
A collaboration between the project miida by former Negoto guitarist Mizuki Masuda, and The Department by Taro Kohata and Yoshihiko Inami from avengers in sci-fi. Mizuki Masuda's DAW-based floating songwriting is fused with the essence of The Department, whose belief is beat making and live playing with hardware centered on analog synths. A sound reminiscent of a movie scene was born, in which rock, the origin of both, was mixed with the tough rhythms Like hip-hop and Techno and acoustical experiments of modular synths.
