About Nicolas Mazzoleni
Nicolas Mazzoleni is a French Baroque violinist. It was during his studies at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Lyon (where he was awarded a first prize in the practice of modern violin) that Nicolas Mazzoleni focused on the restoration of baroque violin. Since then, he has performed as soloist in many Baroque ensembles in Europe. (He is invited annually as a solo violin by the Baroque orchestra of the European Union.) Currently (2013) leader of the second violin section of the Musiciens du Louvre Grenoble
