About Antonio Martín y Coll
Antoni Martin i Coll (Spanish: Antonio Martín y Coll) (died ca. 1734) was a Catalan organist, composer and collector of Baroque music. Martín y Coll grew up in a monastery and eventually became a Franciscan friar. The last years of his life were spent in a the monastery of San Francisco el Grande in Madrid. He probably died there after 1733 and before 1735. Though primarily an organist, Martín y Coll also wrote a pair of treatises (1714 and 1734).
