"Dream On" is the first single by Aerosmith from their 1973 debut album, Aerosmith. Written by lead singer Steven Tyler, this blues-influenced power ballad became their first major hit. Although it peaked at #59 when it was originally released as a single in 1973, it became a Top 10 single in 1976, peaking at #6, when it was re-released as a single. This song was first played live in Willimantic, CT at the Shaboo Inn. Song was re-done by Aerosmith in 2007 for the game "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith". .
