[00:00.10] "The Thrill" is the anthem for my nights out
[00:07.71] All of my friends, uh, we all happen to be a bit of trouble
[00:14.42] And I definitely, I'm a lot of trouble
[00:19.61] The song is pretty much an ode to that feeling of knowing that
[00:26.13] In the coming hours, in the hours ahead
[00:30.56] There's something special that lies, you know, in the danger, the spontaneity
[00:38.71] And, I think this song was really much
[00:42.63] Very much based on my Lower Eastside moments this summer
[00:47.92] And it sounds like that, it sounds scuzzy, and
[00:52.35] It sounds fun, it's driving, you know
[00:58.73] It's very anthem-y, it just
[01:01.06] Feels like that moment at the bar when
[01:03.01] That song comes on and everyone is drunk
[01:06.09] And we're all singing the same song together, ready for that next moment
[01:10.36] Ready for that next move, you know
[01:14.88] Life is all about the thrill and that's why I wrote this song
[01:19.59] I wanted it to be that song that people sing, you know
[01:23.56] In their cars on the way to whatever party or whatever beach
[01:27.84] Or, uh, getting to that next place that
[01:32.55] You know something really special and memorable could happen
[01:35.25] We make some bad decisions the one that we never forget
[01:38.45] The ones that stick out like a sore thumb in our minds, you know
[01:42.08] Like, it's supposed to be the sound of, of those moments
[01:45.44]
