What a Friend We Have In Jesus

[00:11.40] What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
[00:30.06] What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
[00:42.29] O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
[00:54.47] All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.
[01:07.13] Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?
[01:26.52] We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer.
[01:38.48] Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share?

[03:54.16] May we ever, Lord, be bringing all to Thee in earnest prayer.
[03:56.16] Soon in glory bright unclouded there will be no need for prayer
[03:57.24] Rapture, praise and endless worship will be our sweet portion there.
