[00:00.28] We've been taking a look back at Taylor Swift's "Red" album which she released six years ago
[00:05.74] And the next song we're gonna play off this album is the title track
[00:09.49] And Taylor explained to me why she chose to name the entire album after this particular song
[00:15.92] For me, the song "Red" as soon as I wrote that
[00:18.34] That was the turning point in the record
[00:20.39] That was when I realized
[00:22.05] This could be something different, this could be something unique
[00:24.84] This is the song that makes me open up
[00:27.63] All of my ideas of the possibilities of where this album could go
[00:30.99] It's a song about a relationship that was wrong
[00:34.95] And difficult and complicated and hard and impossible
[00:39.35] But you can't forget about it because
[00:41.88] It was red and it was passionate and it was, in a lot of ways
[00:46.22] Touched you in a more real way than you'd ever experienced before and
[00:49.92] I think that that kind of relationship really inspired a lot of the songs on this record
[00:55.41] It is the title track off of Taylor's album which is celebrating its 6th year anniversary of release
