The Reverend (Rave Sermon)

[00:03.00] Brothers and sisters of the congregation
[00:07.20] Today's sermon is called 'rave in the wasteland'
[00:13.02] Now when I say wasteland
[00:14.62] I'm not talking about some barren desert or some foreign land, no
[00:21.03] I'm talking about that interior wasteland
[00:24.50] I'm talking about that place inside where we are most terrified
[00:29.29] I'm talking about that place where we are most confused and disillusioned
[00:34.87] That place we slip into when our lives fall apart
[00:38.86] That place where we least trust God
[00:43.30] When I say, 'rave in the wasteland'
[00:45.93] I'm talking about a new way to be with our adversities, obstacles, and challenges
[00:53.24] I'm talking about a new mindset toward these hard times
[00:58.17] When I say, 'rave in the wasteland'
[01:00.39] I'm talking about conjuring the spirit of joy in the face of our greatest difficulties
[01:06.59] When I say 'rave', I'm talking about looking into the eyes of the dragon and say, "Not today"
[01:14.61] Brothers and sisters, let us call forth the energies of gratitude and celebration
[01:21.30] And I say, my beloveds, let the rave begin
