A Horse with No Name Lyrics
[00:08.93] On the first part of the journey
[00:11.88] I was looking at all the life
[00:15.88] There were plants and birds and rocks and things
[00:21.06] There was sand and hills and rings
[00:24.27] The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz
[00:27.96] And the sky with no clouds
[00:32.46] The heat was hot and the ground was dry
[00:36.07] But the air was full of sound
[00:39.92] I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
[00:43.49] It felt good to be out of the rain
[00:46.94] In the desert you can remember your name
[00:51.35] 'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
[00:56.34] La, la, la lala la la la, la, la
[01:03.58] La, la, la lala la la la, la, la
[01:10.83] After two days in the desert sun
[01:14.62] My skin began to turn red
[01:18.35] After three days in the desert fun
[01:22.70] I was looking at a river bed
[01:25.99] And the story it told of a river that flowed
[01:30.47] Made me sad to think it was dead
[01:34.62] You see
[01:35.93] I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
[01:38.53] It felt good to be out of the rain
[01:41.41] In the desert you can remember your name
[01:46.30] Because there ain't no one for to give you no pain
[01:50.11] La, la, la lala la la la, la, la
[01:57.14] La, la, la lala la la la, la, la
[02:03.67]
[02:21.28] And after nine days I let the horse run free
[02:24.96] 'Cause the desert had turned to sea
[02:28.13] There were plants and birds and rocks and things
[02:32.63] There was sand and hills and rings
[02:36.58] The ocean is a desert with its life underground
[02:40.49] And a perfect disguise above
[02:44.30] Under the cities lies a heart made of ground
[02:48.33] But the humans will give no love
[02:51.16] You see
[02:53.37] I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
[02:56.39] It felt good to be out of the rain
[02:59.02] In the desert you can remember your name
[03:03.38] 'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
[03:08.38] La, la, la lala la la la, la, la
[03:14.77] La, la, la lala la la la, la, la
[03:23.03] La, la, la lala la la la, la, la
[03:30.63] La, la, la lala la la la, la, la
[03:35.65]
[00:11.88] I was looking at all the life
