Last Sweet Moments - live

In the last sweet moments of a childhood sleep
I gaze briefly on what my dreams could keep
then I wish with a childlike hope
to dream along and never wake up

Then runnin unafraid and approach the enchanted play(?)

There in order once and free
each one ya and each one dressed quite as they please

with a circus of a passing rhyme
found my eye and read my mind

Saying come, if your heart then wishes or will
and running away from school

My head close to sleep holding close to dream
til' I almost join what I'd seen

then I woke in sorrow, brought my mind back from the start
oh how far, I thought, from where I was
