All I Really Want Lyrics

[00:21.09] Do I stress you out?
[00:23.66] My sweater is on backwards and inside out
[00:26.37] And you say, "How appropriate"
[00:31.44] I don't want to dissect everything today
[00:34.01] I don't mean to pick you apart you see, but I can't help it
[00:41.97] And there I go jumping before the gunshot has gone off
[00:46.91] Slap me with a splintered ruler
[00:52.22] And it would knock me to the floor if I wasn't there already
[00:57.24] If only I could hunt the hunter
[01:02.24] And all I really want is some patience
[01:07.72] A way to calm the angry voice
[01:12.35] And all I really want is deliverance
[01:17.98] Ah-ha-aah-ah-ah-ah
[01:23.13] Do I wear you out?
[01:25.46] You must wonder why I'm relentless and all strung out
[01:28.15] I'm consumed by the chill of solitary
[01:33.09] I'm like Estella
[01:35.52] I like to reel it in and then spit it out
[01:38.36] I'm frustrated by your apathy
[01:43.67] And I am frightened by the corrupted ways of this land
[01:48.75] If only I could meet the maker
[01:54.26] And I am fascinated by the spiritual man
[01:59.20] I'm humbled by his humble nature, yeah
[02:03.97] And what I wouldn't give to find a soulmate
[02:09.63] Someone else to catch this drift
[02:14.30] And what I wouldn't give to meet a kindred
[02:19.88] Ah-ha-aah-ah-ah-ah
[02:23.31]
[02:31.43]
[02:35.55] Enough about me, let's talk about you for a minute
[02:40.63] Enough about you, let's talk about life for a while
[02:45.50] The conflicts, the craziness and the sound of pretences falling
[02:50.95] All around, all around, 'round, 'round, 'round, 'round
[03:01.21] Why are you so petrified of silence?
[03:06.47] Here, can you handle this?
[03:10.51] Did you think about your bills, your ex, your deadlines
[03:14.16] Or when you think you're gonna die?
[03:16.48] Or did you long for the next distraction?
[03:21.99] And all I need now is intellectual intercourse
[03:27.07] A soul to dig the hole much deeper
[03:32.10] And I have no concept of time other than it is dying
[03:37.33] If only I could kill the killer
[03:42.21] And all I really want is some peace, man
[03:47.71] A place to find a common ground
[03:52.58] And all I really want is a wavelength
[03:57.70] Ah-ha-aah-ah-ah-ah
[04:02.85] And all I really want is some comfort
[04:08.25] A way to get my hands untied
[04:13.25] And all I really want is some justice
[04:18.65] Ah-ha-aah-ah-ah-ah
[04:23.88] 'Cause all I really want is some patience
[04:26.62] A way to calm me down
[04:28.82] And all I really want is deliverance
[04:31.33] And some common grounds
[04:34.28] And all I really want is some of style
[04:35.39]
