About The End of All Things

“The End Of All Things” is an ode to Brendon’s wife, Sarah. Brendon reportedly wrote the song in lieu of wedding vows. In a track-by-track interview for the album with Rock Sound, Brendon said he wrote the song to express "how in love and infatuated [he] was with her and his respect for their relationship and her." Brendon’s inspiration for the dark, haunting style of the track is derived from one of his favorite songs “Lovesong” by The Cure. .

The End of All Things Lyrics

[00:27.91] Whether near or far
[00:34.79] I am always yours
[00:41.30] Any change in time
[00:46.93] We are young again
[00:51.66] Lay us down
[00:57.46] We're in love
[01:05.23] Lay us down
[01:10.49] We're in love
[01:46.59] In these coming years
[01:53.22] Many things will change
[02:00.02] But the way I feel
[02:06.45] Will remain the same
[02:10.50] Lay us down
[02:16.10] We're in love
[02:23.77] Lay us down
[02:29.33] We're in love
