“3” is a spacey track that closely resembles songs on Flume’s self-titled debut.. It’s technically instrumental, but features a prominent, wordless vocal throughout the song. In an Instagram post, Flume revealed who the singer was: himself. "This is one of the few songs on the record that I sing on. I recorded the vocal through my laptop mic. I was going to re-record it, but then i grew to love the shittyness of it." .
