The Dweller

All teemed with life and all was well,
Even in the rough a warmth was felt
Somewhere along the lines I lost my way
Seasons will pass but are they meant to change

Pain came to sleep when winter fell
Heaven slowly turned into a hell
All that I love was taken far from me
Did it exist or was it all a dream?

Were you there in my pain, in the cold and the rain
Watching over me in my chains

Barren in the cold you came to dwell
