[00:37.16] Peaceful folk denied a choice

[00:43.18] That a vote was not a voice
[00:46.23] Well before too long the boom was bust
[00:49.32] And the money had run dry
[00:51.63] And when the people turned around
[00:54.69] And ask Westminster "why?"
[00:58.23] The false god that they'd made
[00:59.71] Out of the city still prevailed
[01:03.53] And we were told the welfare state
[01:06.94] Was why the system failed
[01:10.79] Well we were sold prosperity
[01:13.88] Off working people's backs
[01:17.15] And while we got mass-austerity
[01:19.90] The rich got let off tax
[01:22.33] And now the NHS is on its knees
[01:24.67] And the ones who get the blame
[01:28.07] Are people washed up on the shore

[01:37.56] For resources we should share
[01:40.35] Was brought about by Thatcher
[01:43.11] And made stronger under Blair
[01:46.76] But nobody on this earth
